Slowly recovering from gallery show. This painting is again set in Newfoundland. It attracted
quite a bit of attention. It was a challenge to depict the wide array of grasses, most of which
were green. I really expanded my green palette and the dance between warm and cool
semi-neutrals. Texture, of course, was also an issue. The rugged terrain is most of the charm
of these settings. I've been toying with several new themes and probably a little different
style. Having said that my last three paintings in this Newfoundland style seemed to work.
