This painting, 40 x 30,  appears in my recent show
                                         at the Pumphouse. It was almost entirely made up
                                         after a fun Metro Zoo visit this past winter with my
                                         son John. Although the composition and initial
                                         block-in was swift, a lot of left-brain compositional
                                         analysis proceeded. A different way for me, as usually
                                         the right-brain dominates.
